School Field Trips

Our school field trips are guided by Farmer Tim/Clark or Staff . Farmstead staff will assist at each of the baby farm animal stations (piglets, lambs, goat kids, chicks/ducklings, donkey, bunnies, and calf) to help you hold, share information, and answer any questions. We recommend 4/5 students per chaperone for the best experience.

Dates: Field trips are available on Thursdays, April 16, 23, and 30 Time slots begin at 9 am, 10 am, 11am and 12pm.

New this year: Homeschool Students Field Trip afternoon, Thursday, April 23 from 12pm-3pm

Cost: $10 per person (students, chaperones, and aides):

• One teacher per reservation is Free

• Homeschool groups-One group coordinator is Free

Additional Information:

• 10 student minimum

• One adult chaperone is required for every 4/5 students

• We recommend field trips for children ages Preschool - 5th grade

• Groups typically stay 1.5 hours

Payment Requirements:

• Cash, School Check or Credit Card accepted (No Personal Checks)

• Payment due upon arrival

• One payment allowed per reservation. Please fill out Payment Form before arrival.

• A copy of your tax exempt certificate (Please have in hand upon arrival or email a week in advance) Please email if you need a W-9 or an invoice.

• If your school or organization is not tax exempt, TAX will be added to the cost.

***Field trips will go on rain/shine as the event is indoors! Please dress for the weather. BARN IS NOT HEATED!
